BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – Freshman Ethan Haring was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men's Track and Field Newcomer of the Week on Tuesday for his performance on Saturday at the Westminster Invitational.
Haring, who was named the PAC Newcomer of the Year during the fall cross country season, finished fourth in the 3000-meter steeplechase on Saturday, finishing with a time of 9:56.66. That time is the third fastest time in the PAC this year and is the 12th-best time in the Mid-Atlantic region this year.
Haring and the track and field team will be back in action tomorrow at the Grove City Mini-Invitational, beginning at 2:00 p.m. That meet is the final one before the PAC Championships beginning on May 1.
