GREENWOOD, Ind. – Four Golden Tornadoes from the Geneva College men's volleyball team were named by the College Sports Communicators to its Academic All-District Team. Senior Joshua Sangrey, junior Andrew Ubinger and sophomores Owen Kelley and Daniel Spear were each recognized for their excellence both on the courts and in the classroom.
To be eligible for the academic all-district team, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and hold a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50. The student-athletes must also have played in at least 90 percent of their team's games or been a starter in at least 66 percent of contests.
