Men’s Volleyball Receives AVCA Team Academic Award

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Geneva College men's volleyball team was honored on Monday by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) for its work in the classroom, receiving the 2025 AVCA Team Academic Award.  This is the fifth straight year the men's volleyball program has received this distinction.

In order to qualify for the honor, programs must maintain a year-long grade point average of at least 3.3.  The men far surpassed that mark, finishing with a team GPA of 3.61.

This honor coincides with seven men's players who received individual accolades on the Presidents' Athletic Conference spring honor roll while achieving over a 3.6 GPA.

Through purposeful learning in a community reflecting the full spectrum of God's kingdom, a Geneva College experience inspires students to discover a faith-life calling in service to God and neighbor. Offering 195+ traditional undergraduate majors and programs, fully online Adult Degree Programs and high-demand graduate degrees, Geneva's programs are recognized for their high quality and affordability. Geneva was founded and is governed by the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America (RPCNA) and is a founding member of both the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) and the International Association for Christian Education (IACE).
