GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Geneva College baseball team was awarded the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award for its performance in the classroom over the past year. This is the third time in the last four years that the baseball team has received this honor.
To be honored with the Team Academic Excellence Award, a team must have posted at least a 3.0 combined grade point average over the past school year. This honor comes on the heels of five Golden Tornadoes earning recognition on the Presidents' Athletic Conference Honor Roll for maintaining at least a 3.6 GPA during the spring semester.
