KANSAS CITY, Mo. – On Thursday afternoon the United Soccer Coaches named its regional staffs of the year across all three NCAA Divisions, and of the six staffs honored in NCAA Division III, Geneva Head Men's Soccer Coach
Gary Dunda and his staff were recognized as the top staff in the Great Lakes Region.
Dunda just completed his 11
th season at Geneva, guiding the men's soccer program through the challenges of this spring COVID season. The Golden Tornadoes finished the regular season 8-1, earning the team the top seed in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) playoffs.
Dunda's overall record at Geneva is now 127-59-26 (66%). His program has finished with a winning record in every season he has led the program, including in 2016 when the Golden Tornadoes won the PAC Championship. His teams have also advanced to the PAC playoffs every season but one under his leadership.

Teddy Krzywiecki was an integral part of this year's staff. The 2021 spring season was Krzywiecki's second on staff at Geneva. Krzywiecki is a graduate of Geneva where he put together an all-conference career playing for the soccer team from 2009-12, including three seasons that he played under Dunda.
Geneva's staff also included two part-time assistants.
Chris Sauer joined the staff this year for his first season with the Golden Tornadoes after a long and successful career as a high school coach at Lewistown Area High School and Midd-West High School.
Devaughn Johns also joined the staff this season as a graduate assistant after a standout playing career for the Golden Tornadoes from 2016-2019.
