Sauer and Dunda Receive Additional Postseason Honors

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – Over the past week, senior Cole Sauer and freshman Wil Dunda received additional postseason honors for their play during the recently completed men's soccer season.  Both were named National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Second Team Midwest All-Region selections, while Sauer was also named a United Soccer Coaches Division III Region VII Second Team selection.

Sauer, who was also named a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) First Team selection for the second straight season, added to his list of postseason honors after another standout season leading the center of the Geneva defense.  In addition to his excellent work defensively, Sauer also proved dangerous on the attack, particularly with his prowess in the air on set pieces.  He finished the year with four goals, along with two assists.

Dunda, who was named the PAC Newcomer of the Year for his strong first season at Geneva, was at the heart of the midfield all season for the Golden Tornadoes, regularly steering the attack with his excellent on the ball skills.  He led the conference with 10 assists, many coming off his well-taken set pieces, while also scoring three times.
