MCKEESPORT, Pa. – The Geneva College men's golf team dropped a narrow match against Carlow this afternoon at the Youghiogheny Country Club, 330-327.
Sophomore Michael DeMiere and freshman Austin Goehring led the men, both carding an 81. Junior Jacob DeLisio wasn't far behind with an 83, while sophomore Timothy Ehko rounded out the top four for the Golden Tornadoes with an 85.
"The men played fairly well today, despite the cold and rainy weather," said Head Coach Henry Kennedy. "Our putting continues to be our Achilles' heel, but our driving and ball striking is coming along well. Once we put everything together, it's going to be a different team out there."
The men will return to action on Monday when they travel to take part in the Westminster Invitational.
