WARREN, Ohio – The Geneva College men's golf team played its final round of golf for the semester on a beautiful Tuesday at Avalon Lakes Golf Club on the second day of the Fall Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships. Junior Ryan Edwards had the top score on the day for the Golden Tornadoes, who currently sit in ninth place heading into the second semester. Geneva finished with a team score of 340 in the round.
Edwards ended up carding an 80 on Tuesday afternoon, giving him a two-day total of 159, placing him 23rd out of 50 golfers. Senior Austin Goehring wasn't far behind, scoring an 83 on the second day of the tournament, giving him a two-day score of 161. Sophomore Linkoln Gundacker, who had a team-best two birdies on the day, finished with an 87 for a two-day score of 168, while junior Owen Bouscher carded a 90 to round out the top four.
The final two rounds of the PAC Championship tournament will be played at the end of the spring season, which are scheduled for April 24-25.
