WAYNESBURG, Pa. – The Geneva men's golf team traveled south to compete in the Waynesburg Fall Invitational on Monday morning, facing off against six other schools in the tournament. The men shot 313 as a team, the sixth-best score in program history and their best mark since April. That score placed them fourth out of the seven schools at the event and second among the four participating PAC teams. Baldwin Wallace won the Invitational, carding a 296 as a team.
Two players tied for Geneva's team lead, with senior
Austin Goehring and sophomore
Linkoln Gundacker each shooting a 76. That score was the best mark of Gundacker's collegiate career, and he and Goehring each finished tied for ninth overall at the tournament. Junior
Ryan Edwards posted a sub-80 mark as well, carding a 79 to finish in third place for the men. Graduate student
Mark Rachic shot an 82 to round things out for the GTs, while freshman
Wyatt Hervey's score of 86 was dropped from the scorecard.

Owen Bouscher also played at Waynesburg, competing as an individual and carding an 83.
This was the final scheduled tournament for the men before the PAC Fall Championships begin next week. Day one of the Championships is set to begin on Monday, October 13
th, at 10:30 a.m.
