BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – Senior libero/defensive specialist
Heather Seubert was recognized by the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Wednesday night when the organization released its women's volleyball all-conference awards. Seubert was named an Honorable Mention All-PAC selection for her work in the Golden Tornadoes' back row this season. It is the first all-conference recognition of her career.
Seubert was a bright spot for the Geneva women's volleyball program this year, setting career-high marks in digs, aces, and assists. Her 491 digs were tops on the team, and she led the women with 51 aces as well, 17 more than anyone else on the roster. She was also third on the team in assists, with 62. Her .53 aces per set were the fourth-best in the PAC, and she also finished sixth in the conference with 5.05 digs per set. In a season where the GTs showed their inexperience at times, she proved to be a strong leader out of the back row as a senior.
In addition to Seubert's recognition, junior
Gracyn Lee was also honored by the conference Wednesday night, being named to the PAC Sportsmanship Team. Lee finished the year with 19 blocks, second-most on the team, as well as 82 kills.
