All-PAC Teams Include Smalley and Busler

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) announced its men's tennis all-conference teams on Tuesday morning and two Geneva players were included in the ranks, junior Braiden Smalley and freshman Ben Busler. Smalley received All-PAC First Team honors in both singles and doubles play, while Busler was named to the First Team as well in doubles play and an Honorable Mention All-PAC selection in singles play.

This is the third consecutive year that Smalley has received All-PAC First Team recognition for his singles performance, and he has been named to the First or Second Team for doubles play in all three seasons as well. He put together an impressive 11-2 record in the No.1 singles slot this season, not suffering his first loss until April. He also collected nine doubles victories.

Busler took on a very large role with the tennis program in his freshman year, playing in the top doubles flight and second singles flight for much of the season. Together, he and Smalley posted an 8-3 record in No. 1 doubles, while Busler also grabbed two victories at No. 2 doubles early in the year.

In addition to his all-conference awards, Smalley was named to the PAC Sportsmanship Team as well.
