NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio – The Geneva college men's golf team placed third, out of five schools, on Friday at the Golden Eagle Invite, hosted by Kent State Tuscarawas at Oak Shadows Golf Course. The team finished with a score of 327.
Senior
Austin Goehring led the Golden Tornadoes by carding a 76, while junior
Ryan Edwards wasn't far behind with a 79. Freshman
Wyatt Hervey finished with an 85, while senior
Mark Rachic rounded out the top four with an 87. Sophomore
Linkoln Gundacker, who was competing as an individual, shot an 86.
The men will return to action on Monday at the La Roche Invitational, hosted at the Wildwood Golf Club. The first golfers tee off at 11:00 a.m.
