PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Geneva men's golf team traveled south to Pittsburgh this afternoon for a tournament at La Roche that featured 11 different teams, including six Presidents' Athletic Confernce (PAC) schools. The men shot 346 as a team, good enough for eighth place at the Invitational.
Leading the way for the Golden Tornadoes was junior
Ryan Edwards, who carded an 82 on the afternoon. Following him up were senior
Austin Goehring (87), sophomore
Linkoln Gundacker (88), and freshman
Wyatt Hervey (89). Junior
Owen Bouscher also competed at the event, but his score of 100 was not counted toward Geneva's overall team mark.
The men are set to play again this weekend, traveling to Ohio for the Franciscan Fall Invitational. The first tee time for that tournament is at 1:00 p.m.
