GREENWOOD, Ind. – Junior Lexi Lee and senior Hannah Skwarek were honored on Tuesday by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) as Academic All-District selections for their performance last year both on the field and in the classroom.
To be honored as CSC Academic All-District selections, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically while holding a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50. Players must also have played in at least 90 percent of their team's games or been a starter in at least 66 percent of their contests.
Skwarek, who graduated in May with a degree in biochemistry, and Lee, a communication media and rhetoric major, were both key players for the women's lacrosse team this year, with Skwarek second on the team with 12 goals and Lee leading the team with 110 saves in goal. This is the second straight season both have been honored as Academic All-District selections.
