BEAVER FALLS, Pa. -The Presidents' Athletic Conference released its all-conference teams Friday afternoon, and two Geneva women's tennis players received recognition. Sophomore
Chloe DeSanzo earned her second straight First Team All-PAC award for singles play, while senior
Lauren Estes was named to the Second Team for her singles performance. The two women made a great pairing as Geneva's top doubles team this year and were named Second Team All-PAC for doubles as well.
DeSanzo, last season's PAC Newcomer of the Year, performed admirably as Geneva's No. 1 once again this season, posting an 11-2 record in singles play through the fall semester and a 7-2 record in conference play. She won her first six singles contests of the year and had a streak of nine consecutive singles wins dating back to the 2024-25 season.
Estes served as the Golden Tornadoes' No. 2 singles player, going 10-4 across the year and 6-3 in conference play. She ends the fall semester in ninth-place all-time on Geneva's career singles wins list, with 36 career singles victories. Estes has earned all-conference recognition in all four years she has been with the Geneva tennis program.
This is the second consecutive year that DeSanzo and Estes have been named an all-conference doubles team, receiving First Team recognition last year and Second Team honors this season. The two went 8-5 as a doubles pair, holding down the top doubles flight for Geneva all season long. In addition to her place in the all-time singles wins record book, Estes also moved into a tie for eighth-place in program history with 36 career doubles victories following the fall semester.
Senior
CeJaelyn Perednia also received postseason recognition from the PAC this afternoon, being named to the PAC Sportsmanship team. Perednia was an integral part of the Golden Tornadoes effort to reach the PAC playoffs this season, filling the No. 4 singles slot and playing on the No. 2 doubles team all year long.
