Women’s Lacrosse Travels to Chatham

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – A short-handed Geneva College women's lacrosse team couldn't get any offense going on Saturday afternoon at Chatham, falling 20-0.

Chatham took control early, scoring 11 times in the first quarter on its way to a 16-0 lead at the halftime break.  Geneva tried to break through offensively in the second half but never could find the net in the loss.

Freshman Lexi Lee made 11 saves in the net, while also recording three ground balls.  Junior Hannah Skwarek led the team with two shots, while freshman Amanda Gillette recorded three draw controls.

The women have their final home match of the season on Tuesday when Geneva hosts Franciscan at 3:30 p.m. at Wright Fields.
