Sharek Receives Another PAC Weekly Award

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – For the fifth time this year, freshman Madison Sharek was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Women's Golf Newcomer of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.

Sharek led Geneva at Saturday's Westminster Spring Invitational, carding an 84, which placed her sixth overall.  She posted two birdies in her round and was the only freshman in the top ten of the tournament.  Saturday's performance continued an impressive stretch of golf for Sharek in her first collegiate season.

Sharek and the rest of the women's golfers will now prepare to finish up their season next weekend, April 25 and 26, with the final two rounds of the PAC Championships.
