BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – Following the debut season of the Geneva College women's lacrosse program, one member of the GTs' team received post-season honors. The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) released their all-conference teams Thursday night, and freshman midfielder Amanda Gillette was recognized for her performance this year by being named an Honorable Mention All-PAC selection.

Gillette was key to every part of the Golden Tornadoes' game plan this spring, starting with her presence in the draw circle where she led the team with 44 draw controls. She was also one of Geneva's top threats in attack, scoring eight goals on the year, second-most on the team. She took a team high 25 shots, 19 of which were on target. In defense, she tied for the team lead with 21 caused turnovers, and she also picked up 29 ground balls over the course of the season.

Gillette's performance in her freshman season was critical for the brand-new Geneva team. Her impact went far beyond the stat sheet as she provided a calm and steady presence in the midfield on a team with many players who were new to the sport.

In addition to Gillette's honor, freshman Tirzah George was recognized on the PAC Sportsmanship Team for her play this season.
