Andy Holaren was a key part of the Geneva baseball team from 1993-96 that advanced to two NAIA World Series. He spent much of his time playing second base, where he finished with a .284 career hitter with 104 runs scored and 38 stolen bases, but he also was a dominant reliever. Over his four seasons he pitched 146.1 inning with a 2.28 ERA and 141 strikeouts, mostly in relief. He started just six games over his career, but two of those starts came in a doubleheader in which he pitched all 18 innings while securing two victories to capture the District Championship over Point Park in 1996.
