Geneva College Athletics

Derek Sumner put together a standout baseball career for the Golden Tornadoes from 2006-09.  He developed into one of the top pitchers in recent history for Geneva, earning NCCAA All-American honors his junior and senior seasons.  He finished his senior year with 10 complete games and a 2.59 ERA.  For his career he totaled 21 complete games, 22 victories, a 4.30 ERA and 249 strikeouts, which are the most in program history over a career.
