Geneva College Athletics

Robin Gutshall (Napier) was an integral part of the beginning of the women’s cross country program at Geneva.  Arriving on campus in 1989, she became the first and only member of Geneva’s women’s cross country team that year, and she went on to put together one of the top cross country careers of any women’s runner at Geneva.  She quickly developed into one of the top runners in the region, qualifying for the NAIA nationals all four years, earning All-District honors every year, while leading the program to a District Championship as a senior.  Gutshall also played a pivotal role in recruiting and leadership in those initial years of the program.
