Larry Matrazzo (1962-65)

Larry Matrazzo was truly one of the finest athletes to walk through the door at Geneva College. A three-sport star in the mid-60’s, Matrazzo managed to gain 10 varsity letters in the sports of football (3), basketball (3) and baseball (4). Most notably on the football field, Matrazzo was a record setting quarterback in an era where it was more prevalent to run the ball. Matrazzo’s school record for passing yardage in a game of 327 yards stood for 23 years. His career passing total of 3,019 yards was at the top of the list for 14 years. He also finished his career second on the all-time list in completion percentage (50.8%) and touchdown passes (20).
