Mark Villella was a standout defensive back for the Golden Tornadoes during the early 2000’s.  He intercepted 19 passes over his four years, 3^rd in school history, while also providing a physical presence in run support where he finished with 142 career tackles.  He received NAIA All-American honors in both 2002 and 2003, including First Team recognition his final season in 2003.  He was also named an NCCAA First Team All-American in both 2002 and 2003.  His nine interceptions in 2001 rank third in school history for a single season.
