Geneva College Athletics Hall of Fame
Mike Nedzesky was a two-sport standout for Geneva on the football and track and field teams. On the gridiron, his senior year in 1987 was one of the best seasons for a defensive lineman in program history, finishing with 132 tackles and 9 sacks in helping lead Geneva to the NAIA semifinals. He was named an NAIA First Team All-American for his play that season. He was also a standout thrower for the track and field team and still holds the discus school record with a throw of 44.65 meters.
