Sam Adams
Adams was an all-district performer on Geneva’s football team on both sides of the line of scrimmage in the early 1960s. He also won a tennis championship in 1964. In 1969, Adams returned to Geneva as an assistant professor while also serving as an assistant coach on the football team and the head coach of Geneva’s track and field team. He later went on to become a well-known high school official in Western Pennsylvania, working hundreds of football, basketball and softball games.
