Geneva College Athletics

Jerry O’Neill was a tremendous post player for the men’s basketball team from 1966-69.  Playing at a time when he was only allowed to play on the JV team as a freshman, in just three seasons he posted 1,436 points, 18^th in program history, while grabbing 837 rebounds, fifth in program history.  Over his career he averaged 19.7 points and 11.5 rebounds in 73 career games, earning All-District honors twice while being named the top Scholar-Athlete in the entire NAIA in 1968.
