Michelle Albrecht Schwartz was one of the top sprinters to compete for the Geneva track and field team in the mid-1990s.  She graduated with the 400-meter and 800-meter records, and she was a part of the 4x400-meter relay team that also held the Geneva record.  Her top event was the 400-meter hurdles, and she still holds the school record in that event with a time of 1:01.40.  Schwartz was an eight-time NCCAA National Champion, winning the 400-meters all four years, while also winning the 400-meter hurdles three times and running on the 4x400m relay that won a championship.  Her senior year she was an NAIA All-American.
