Jeff Beltz was one of the best two-sport athletes in Geneva history. On the gridiron and on the baseball field, his great hands were the reason for his success. Beltz finished his football career ranked in the top five in Geneva’s history in receptions (142), receiving yards (2,130) and touchdowns (20) in football, and his 235 receiving yards against West Virginia Tech in 1994 are the second-highest single game receiving total in school history. He was named an NAIA All-American his senior year. On the baseball field, he was just as dominant where he is the school's leader in runs scored (165), triples (16) and walks (96).
