Rey Dempsey

Dempsey was a 1958 Geneva graduate who was a standout quarterback on the football team, while also participating in basketball and baseball.  He was named to the Top 100 (1950-1975) and Top 100 All-Time teams as a player for the Golden Tornadoes.  He went on to become a football coach for almost 30 years, where he had stops in high school, college, and even a year in the NFL with the Detroit Lions in 1975.
