Geneva College Athletics

John Collins excelled on the baseball diamond for Geneva during the late 1980s, both as a hitter and a pitcher.  He finished his career with a .344 batting average, including 32 doubles, 19 home runs and 113 RBIs.  On the mound, his career 2.60 ERA is tied for the program low record, and his .857 winning percentage is tops all-time.  He was named an NAIA All-District selection in 1988 and 1989.
